We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Website Content Publisher to join our Content Strategy & Channel Execution team within Global Marketing & Communications. This role is based in Pittsburgh, PA with a hybrid work arrangement at this time.

Responsibilities:
IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS:
Reviewing and updating content across our external websites, including our corporate website: bny.com
Assisting with our sitewide content maintenance process
Coordinating with business stakeholders to ensure current and compelling website content that promotes our brand and our commercial goals
Collaborating with team members across Marketing and Communications to ensure alignment and consistency in branding, style and messaging
Working with content strategists to build and maintain editorial calendars
Leveraging standard page templates and existing content hierarchy to drive consistent user experiences across our websites
Managing multiple stakeholder approvals throughout the publishing process and ensuring content published aligns with established governance practices and policies
Increasing website traffic and engagement by following SEO best practices
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, WE’RE SEEKING THE FOLLOWING:
Significant experience with website publishing through Adobe Experience Manager and/or other website content management systems
Excellent web content writing skills including proper use of grammar, punctuation and spelling
Familiarity with the strategic content organization, page and template hierarchy and content governance
Knowledge of SEO best practices including keyword strategy, meta and title tagging, Alt text and internal linking
Familiarity with work/project management tools like Workfront and Jira
Strong attention to detail and proven project management skills
Ability to work within a highly matrixed environment to meet tight deadlines
5 – 7 years of website content publishing experience; bachelor’s degree preferred
