WHO IS POD MARKETING?

POD Marketing is a full-service digital marketing agency that offers clients a wide range of marketing solutions. Unlike other agencies, we specialize in specific industries, which makes us true experts in both digital marketing and the industries we serve.
We are looking for highly skilled and motivated Contracted Workers to join our team. As a Contracted Worker, you will play a crucial role in our organization, providing your expertise and contributing to our projects. Unlike our internal employees, Contracted Workers will have full flexibility in their work hours, as long as they meet the deadlines for their assigned tasks. They will also have the freedom to work from anywhere in the world, making this an ideal opportunity for those who value remote work.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

You’re a writer who thrives while working solo and loves just the right amount of deadline pressure.
We provide our contractors with industry-specific guidance and onboarding in our process so you can feel confident and supported when you’re creating content for us. While you need to work independently when you’re a contracted copywriter for POD, we’re here to make sure you have all the tools you need to get it done.

Must-Haves:

• Very strong writing, grammar and proofreading skills
• A writing portfolio with relevant samples, including published work
• Legally able to work in Canada
• Up to 20 hours a week available for contract work
• Excellent organizational & time management skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Available for live video calls (as-needed basis, approx. 1 per month after initial resources provided)
• Ability to gracefully accept editing feedback and apply it to future work

Desired Skills:

• Demonstrated website and/or marketing writing experience
• Formal writing training (completed or current post-secondary training is an asset) or equivalent work experience
• Understanding of appropriate use of generative AI
• Understanding of SEO and best practices for digital writing
