Description:

We are on the search for an experienced Web Manager based in Melbourne, Australia for a 1-year fixed contract.
Purpose
To operationalise Buildxact’s marketing strategy for web, and lead the planning, delivery, marketing, and maintenance of the public facing web sites.
This role will work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, other digital colleagues, and our marketing team to deliver a great user experience and consistent brand experience.
This role will have a strong technical and web background but will act as the project manager for the management of our websites. You will interface with team members and external suppliers, acting as the website business partner, to understand their needs, outline web developments and changes to the team and ensure the timely and effective delivery of the necessary developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate the delivery and on-going management of the web product strategy, collaborating with the Director of Marketing and other key stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet client specifications.
  • Experience building pages and templates in Elementor page builder.
  • Design and implement new features and functionality on WordPress websites.
  • Ensure high-performance and availability of WordPress sites.
  • Conduct website performance tests and implement improvements.
  • Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing and responsive website layouts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs in a timely manner.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to WordPress development.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients as needed.
  • Experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag manager, Unbounce landing page builder, VWO or other AB testing tools is mandatory.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM & Pardot, Middleware like Workato and Zapier is advantageous.
  • Responsible for development of web pages, landing pages and other web related marketing materials.
  • Responsible for managing the Buildxact AB testing strategy and to ol, technical SEO and overall website performance.
  • Manage and maintain the global web development roadmap in line with the business strategic goals, web product strategy and KPI’s.
  • Manage the overall global data strategy for the web sites with a view to improvement and enhancement.
  • Convene stakeholder meetings with the Direct of Demand Gen to feed the development backlog with ideas and concept that provide benefit to the web site users, conversion, and the commercial goals.
  • Monitor the performance of the website, meeting with digital and data analysts, developers, and external digital vendors to resolve issues and improve performance.
  • Provide regular insight and report on technical aspects and KPIs for the website to the Director of Marketing Technology and other stakeholders as required.
  • Write high-level requirements, as stories, for functionality and assist in writing business cases for investment decisions.
  • Manage the schedule for the weekly development and change request release cycle.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for workflow and policy around the web site, in conjunction with the Director of Demand Gen.
  • Assist the web development team in managing and prioritising the backlog of work.
  • Responsible for website performance in conjunction with the Demand Gen Manager and through experiments, seek to continually improve it.
  • Maintain and expand the currency of knowledge and skills via personal and professional development.
  • Undertake any other duties commensurate with the role and/or requested by the Director of Demand Gen.

Qualifications
Degree qualified in Computer Science or similar.
3-5 years’ relevant experience managing global website/domains.
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in WordPress development.
Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP
Experience with WordPress and Elementor page builder
