Description:
OVERVIEW
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Wedding Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for orchestrating unforgettable weddings, ensuring that every detail aligns with the couple’s vision. This role requires a blend of creativity, organisation, and exceptional guest service skills to create seamless and memorable experiences for clients and their guests.
The role will also require the planning of all events at the Windmill including private conference hires, self-catering hires, wedding fairs and more.
SKILLS
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is highly desirable.
- Experience in restaurant or hotel settings can be beneficial for understanding service standards and client expectations.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, vendors, and guests.
- A flair for creativity and attention to detail in planning aesthetic elements of weddings.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanour during high-stress situations.

- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budget for their wedding.
- Develop comprehensive wedding plans that include timelines, budgets, and vendor selections.
- Manage logistics on the wedding day, including setup, coordination of events, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Provide exceptional guest services to ensure all attendees have a positive experience.
- Upsell additional services or products to enhance the overall wedding experience.
- Maintain clear communication with clients throughout the planning process to keep them informed and engaged.
