JOB OVERVIEW

Sam Browne Foods are currently recruiting Hygiene Operatives to join our weekend night hygiene team. The ideal candidate would be flexible, enthusiastic and have excellent attention to detail. This physically demanding role provides a hygiene resource to the fast-paced factory in order that acceptable conditions of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained in a refrigerated environment.
This position is to start immediately working Saturday 4pm to 10pm and Sunday 2pm to 8pm.
Hygiene Pay Rate £12.50- £13.50 per hour, paid fortnightly

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience within the Food Industry (i.e. Hygiene Operative or similar) is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience within the food industry (i.e. Hygiene Operative or similar)
  • Reliability and good timekeeping
  • General awareness of basic food hygiene / health and safety principles.
  • Conscientious

  • Ability to communicate, understand and follow instructions.

Responsibilities:

  • Food Safety: Creating a clean, safe and hygienic environment so as to enable food safety standards to be achieved.
  • People: Communicate effectively with colleagues & line management.
  • Health and Safety: Undertaking task / equipment / chemical specific training to keep and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Audits: Working effectively and efficiently in line with auditing and departmental specifications.
  • Paperwork: Complete, store / deliver relevant paperwork according to procedure to demonstrate regularity of duties etc.
  • Procedures: Working to strict manufacturing, health and safety and technical procedures to ensure standards and safe working is achieved
