About the Role

  • Be the first point of contact with our frontline staff – including communications around unforeseen absences & general work-related queries
  • Scheduling staff rosters, both for future requirements & at short notice, to meet client requirements
  • Use of specialist workforce & rostering software
  • Motivate, engage and develop our Guarding frontline teams, ensuring standard processes are being followed by all staff members
  • Ensure accurate service delivery by the team to our clients and monitor contract KPIs
  • Ensure you are a visible frontline support network to our team and regularly visit client sites delivering service excellence
  • Bring a level of forward-thinking and initiative towards identifying and solving issues before they become more significant problems
  • Ensure you are a positive leader within the Red Badge Team to maintain our status as New Zealand’s premier customer service-focused security and events business
  • Constructively challenge current thinking and practice, offering new ideas, alternatives or improvements to existing products, services and approaches.

About you

  • Previous track record in coordinating staff, logistics, production planning or supply chain – is preferred but not essential
  • Some experience in a security &/ or similar industry is advantageous.
  • Have a Green COA Security License is desirable however we can help you obtain one!
  • Full clean New Zealand driving license.
  • Excellent innovative problem-solving and critical thinking skills with good leadership to develop solutions quickly.
  • Highly adaptable and have the ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and an ability to enforce expectations with staff and lead them in the right direction.
  • Work flexibility – this is not your usual 9 – 5 job –your rostered days will be Saturday and Sunday, you must be available to work these days, the hours between 0700-1900.
