We are currently seeking an experienced Weld Manufactuing Engineer Supervisor to join our team in Wichita, Kansas. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the plant’s activities related to quality including planning and implementation of the company quality management program. In addition, you will be a key member in the plant’s Lean Manufacturing activities and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, design and plan equipment and machine layouts, workflow, and safety precautions to maximize utilization of plant and manufacturing facilities.
  • Evaluate worker productivity and recommend improvements to increase manpower efficiency and operating performance, Reduce waste and delays, and promote cost control/reductions.
  • Develop metrics to measure plant and equipment capacity and identify equipment and process flow bottlenecks.
  • Establish safety incident prevention measures, and plan and schedule training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operation and ensure compliance with established industry safety and design standards and guidelines.
  • Determine facility specifications, including analysis and evaluation of location, material resources, and structural design.)
  • Resolve technical problems and recommend production improvement.
  • Provide design for manufacturability feedback to the Product Development team for new and current product.
  • Provide day-to-day supervision of hourly technicians responsible to improve and support production activities.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

The salary range for this position is $102,000-$150,150 annually (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
