At Turmec, we are currently growing our team and are looking for dedicated, skilled Metal Fabricators/Welders to join our expanding team to assist in delivering small and large-scale projects in Ireland, the UK and the wider international market. Successful applicants will enjoy being part of a closely-knit manufacturing team, who pride themselves on delivering the highest quality products to our worldwide customers.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• 3 years previous experience in the manufacture of Mild Steel or Stainless-Steel fabrications required
• High standard of welding experience to a suitable standard in MIG welding
• Safe-Pass and Manual Handling desirable, Abrasive Wheel training not essential but preferable
• Candidates must work to CE EN1090 criteria • A good understanding of spoken and written English is essential
• The ideal candidate must be self-efficient and be able to work unsupervised, on their own initiative, but also be a team player.
• Good attendance and time keeping
• Upon employment candidates must undergo and pass weld tests
• Own car needed for this role

• The role will require the candidate to undertake general metal fabrication
• This role does involve some heavy lifting and requires the candidate to be physically fit and able to work on their feet for the full shift period
