Responsibilities:
ROLE SUMMARY:
For our Essen site, which specializes in the development, production and global sales of the Kämmer valves, we are looking for a Welder (M/F/T) at the earliest possible star date. In this position you will be responsible for the manual and tack welding of workpieces (root, filler and cover layers according to specifications).
YOUR TASKS:
- Check workpieces on the worklist for completeness, batch consistency and correct material specifications using work documents/drawings
- Select the welding equipment and additional welding materials according to the drawing/welding specifications
- Check for the impact of thermal treatment
- Smooth out tack welds
- Clean the equipment according to maintenance specifications
- Operate automatic welding machines and weld special materials (Ultimet, Hasteloy, Nickel, Monel, etc.)
- Weld X-ray safe weld seams
- Sterilize guides and seat edges
