REQUIREMENTS
If you have:
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on welding manufacturing experience with a bachelor’s degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical, Materials Engineering, or similar engineering disciplines
- Must have actual working experience or solid understanding of various welding processes including SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, SAW, PAW
- Qualified candidate must be Canadian citizen and able to satisfy all requirements to be able to work on Controlled Goods Program (CGP)
- Must be a member of OIQ or in the process of becoming one (a registered professional engineer in other Canadian provinces who is eligible to be member of OIQ will be considered)
- Knowledge of welding and materials codes such as ASME section III, VIII and IX, ASME B31.1, B31.3 and B16.34, Military, ASTM, and European welding standards
- Must be fluent with computer systems and software
- Bilingualism (French and English)
