To be successful in this role you will:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Petroleum Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in drilling well construction and will design.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a supervisor.
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills, including ability to synthesize complex topics into clear and simple messages.
- MS office suite, power BI or other analytical tools, well engineering and design software (for example: hydraulics, torque and drag, casing/tubing design)

Responsibilities:
As a Well Engineer – Integrated Solutions, you will be responsible for:
- Preparation of well design, well plan and operational procedures for construction, completion, intervention and/or abandonment of wells in area of responsibility.
- Prepare operational time and well cost estimates.
- In collaboration with internal and external parties, prepare risk register and contingency plans.
- Work as Multi Services Package (MSP) well engineer.
- Coordinates product lines inputs to ensure that there are no conflicting inputs that could jeopardize overall job performance.
- Engage with client engineers and manage relationships with the client’s well execution teams.
- Review DCF programs and communicate potential challenges to other Baker Hughes; PLs involved in the same section of MSP project wells. Also, alert client’s Engineering and operations as may be necessary (whilst observing all communication protocols).
- Collect best drilling in practices in IS LSTK projects for implementation in MSP. Work to communicate these best practices to client’s Engineering supervisor and drilling engineers.
- Coordinate and meet with SDs to create drilling road maps for driving synergy.
- Work with Service delivery teams to maintain performance dashboards for MSP fields.
- Communicate product line performance across.
- Review PL failure investigation reports and work with all internal & external parties to ensure timely and effective release of investigation reports.
- Help PLs justify the removal NPT penalties placed by client (where applicable)
- Work with PLs to create time periodic performance reports.
- Help drive implementation of new technology and upsell opportunities in MSP projects.
- Ensure all engineering activities are in line with HSE policies and procedures, and drive HSE culture by setting example through safe work practices.
- Participate in tender bid preparation process for well engineering input.
- Deliver customer presentations & lead meetings (may include travel to other locations).
- Monitor daily progress of job(s) or project(s) and monitor operations expenditure.
- Provide engineering recommendations and advice to the project team.
- Participate, lead, and ensure Root Cause Analysis investigation are completed and lessons learned are recorded and shared within the team.
- Participate and contribute in project and Center of Excellence (CoE) team meetings and strategy discussions.
- Ensure that engineering and operational achievements and challenges are captured through case histories, lessons learned or papers, and shared with the global team.
- Mentor and coach engineering team members
