Description:
We are looking for a Well Integrity Field Technician to join our team to perform on-site equipment installation and troubleshooting on client well-sites.
The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a strong customer service background, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
This position will be responsible for;
· Performing tasks related to well integrity tests on a clients worksite,
· Tasks related to gas migration testing and surface casing vent flow monitoring,
· Communicate regular job-related information to the client and/or supervisor,
· Prepare and issue completed field tickets with customer-specific pricing to clients,
· Performing tasks related to maintaining the inventory, materials, and shop in an orderly and safe manner as well as monthly facility inspection and reporting,
· Picking up, inventory, and delivering tools, and materials to work sites,
· Interaction and communications with client representatives at their offices or workplace settings in a local business development rep capacity,
· Driving to and from the client’s worksite, and following up on clients’ needs,
· Conducting general preventative maintenance on the well integrity testing equipment, vehicles, and trailers.

· Written and verbal communication,
· Critical thinking and task focus without distraction and exhibiting initiative by being a self-starter,
· Communicating problem solving ideas with the supervisor,
· Working in a safe manner,
· Driving and/or operating equipment in a safe manner.
· Proficiency and comfort with utilizing technology as part of daily job functions. Understanding of Google suite of products is an asset.
Work Environment:
· The work for this position is conducted outdoors.
Physical Workload:
· The majority of the tasks related to this position have a medium to heavy workload.
Please note: This is a project based role. It is not full time and the applicant must be willing to work an on call, as needed schedule.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada, possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license, and maintain a clean Driver’s Abstract. This position is located in the Fort St. John area, and applicants must reside within a 30-minute commute from FSJ.

Pay: $29.00-$34.00 per hour
