About the role:
We are currently looking for a passionate Wellbeing Advisor to join our Safety & Wellbeing team on a 12-month fixed term contract.
Your focus will be to actively promote our Safety & Wellbeing strategy through the design, coordination and implementation of initiatives that help to create a mentally & physically safe working environment and inspire our team to make positive changes to their mental health and overall wellbeing.
What’s involved:
- Assist in the design and implementation of our risk based and team member informed wellbeing strategy.
- Assist with the planning and implementation of psychosocial risk assessments.
- Provide advice to leaders and team members on best practice wellbeing approaches to address and improve team member wellbeing.
- Assist with the implementation of safety and wellbeing action plans.
- Support the development and coordination of wellbeing campaigns and events.
- Assist with the coordination of our Wellbeing Leadership Team meetings.
- Assist with the design, development, and evolution of wellbeing metrics track the success of wellbeing initiatives.
Who we’re looking for:
Our ideal candidate will have a background in wellbeing program development and implementation, ideally within a corporate or commercial environment.
You’ll have a strong understanding of current wellbeing practices, have good emotional intelligence with the ability to empathise with others and inspire change. You’ll also be a strong communicator with good stakeholder management and be able to work collaboratively within a team environment.
You’ll need:
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field
- A background in Organisational Psychology or Psychology is highly desirable
- Working knowledge of contemporary wellbeing practices and initiatives
- Previous project management experience
- Retail experience preferred
- High level planning and prioritisation skills
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent planning & organisation skills
