Description:

We wish to recruit a motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic individual to take on the role of Wellbeing and PNA Lead Nurse for Critical Care and CCOT. The post holder will join the senior nursing team and will work closely with all staff across Critical Care and CCOT.
Working across both campuses (Nottingham City and Queens Medical Centre), Critical Care provides an excellent opportunity to an enthusiastic and committed nurse. The role will involve the engagement of key stakeholders from the multidisciplinary team to develop, implement and evaluate a specialist service ensuring staff receive a high standard of restorative practice.
The Wellbeing and Professional Nurse Advocate Lead for Critical Care and CCOT will co-ordinate and manage a team of qualified PNA’s. This role will ensure Critical Care and CCOT staff are supported through a continuous improvement process that builds personal and professional clinical leadership, improving the quality of patient care delivered and supporting professional revalidation using the A-EQUIP (Advocating for Education and Quality Improvement) approach. The Wellbeing and PNA lead will be responsible for developing a robust delivery plan to provide restorative clinical supervision (RCS) by using both 1:1 and group sessions.
This will also involve the engagement of key stakeholders from the multidisciplinary team to develop, implement and evaluate a specialist service ensuring staff receive a high standard of restorative practice. Directly linking with the department’s wellbeing and retention plans. The post holder will represent the department, developing networks within NUH and beyond to develop both the Wellbeing and PNA service based on evidence and best practice. The Wellbeing and PNA lead will produce reports and present to the senior leadership teams, recruitment and retention team, governance team and the educational team amongst others to drive innovative and positive changes for our staff development. Improving the environments will allow enhancement of the quality of care delivered, personal and professional clinical leadership and professional revalidation.
