YMCA Wellbeing Services aim to improve young people’s access and engagement with education through developing mental wellbeing. We achieve this through the provision of best practice individualised support pathways, including psychological intervention, counselling and case management support. In addition, we deliver evidence-based wellbeing group programs, both proactive and developmentally focused, that meet the needs of children and young people.
Y Schools Queensland - Bundaberg Campus is recruiting a Wellbeing Counsellor to join the team on a Permanent, Part-Time (3 days a week) basis based in Bundaberg.

As a wellbeing counsellor at the YMCA supporting young people, your role is vital in helping individuals navigate the challenges they face and promoting mental, emotional, and social wellbeing. Offering a safe space where young people can talk openly about their feelings and experiences. Listening without judgment is crucial in building trust and understanding
