Responsibilities:

A BIT ABOUT THE ROLE

The Sonas Wellbeing service is an exciting new, innovative and strategic service for children, young people, and families in Moray. Sonas Wellbeing Service aims to provide a range of interventions and support targeted at improving the mental health and wellbeing of children, young people, and families. Accredited evidence-based programs alongside whole family support will provide a need’s led tailored suite of programs that supports a diverse range of needs incorporating a rights-based approach promoting inclusion, co -production and wellbeing as a right for all.
Sonas Wellbeing Service will be delivered Moray wide with a local focus ensuring every community has a designated staff member close at hand to meet emerging need and build local community connections and positive relationships.

Some key responsibilities for the role are;

  • Building positive and trusting relationships with young people, families, carers, and partners.
  • Undertaking an assessment for each child/young person attending the service and prior to support commencing to identify any issues/barriers they may face and how we can support them. Complete all relevant risk assessments and paperwork required in relation to case files and support.
  • Ensuring progress is monitored, recorded, and reviewed at set intervals, putting in additional support where required to ensure goals are met.
  • Be able to plan, deliver and evaluate identified interventions and programmes to support children, young people, and families.
  • Maintaining awareness of Health & Safety regulations, to ensure the safety and well- being of children, young people, staff and visitors accessing the service.
  • Supporting the Service Coordinator to maintain any regulatory and/or legislative requirements for the service.
  • Supporting the Service Coordinator to maintain the contract requirements for service delivery
