Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Wellness Development Manager to join our corporate team in Baar, Switzerland. As a key member of our Health & Wellness division, you will be instrumental in leading the design, development, and implementation of world-class wellness concepts across our properties. You will work closely with the Global Head of Health & Wellness Development and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of wellness initiatives that align with the company’s luxury standards and guest experiences.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of wellness across our global portfolio. This role requires strategic thinking, leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. The ideal candidate will possess a positive, solution-oriented mindset and a high degree of independence while working within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead and oversee wellness development projects from conceptualization to implementation, including the design and construction of wellness, sports, and leisure facilities across new pipelines, extensions, and renovations of operating hotels.
- Concept Development: Spearhead the development of innovative wellness programs, services, and facilities in line with the company’s luxury standards and guest preferences.
- Market Research & Trends: Conduct and analyze market research to identify trends, benchmarks, and competitive insights, ensuring wellness offerings remain cutting-edge and relevant to the luxury market.
- Financial Feasibility & ROI Analysis: Manage financial feasibility studies, including cost estimates and ROI assessments, to evaluate project success and scalability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Aman Technical Service, Development & Asset Management, Operations) and external consultants (e.g., architects, designers) to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Design Oversight: Review and provide input on technical drawings (CD, SD, DD) and interior design concepts, ensuring alignment with the brand’s wellness standards and guest expectations.
- Pre-Opening & Operational Support: Oversee the wellness department’s pre-opening projects, ensuring all programs and facilities meet operational standards.
- Guideline & SOP Development: Update and manage wellness development guidelines, operational standards, and equipment information to support consistency across all properties.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented working environment.
- Meeting Coordination & Reporting: Manage departmental meetings, conference calls, and provide reports and updates to senior leadership on project progress.
- Administrative Support: Provide executive-level administrative support to the Global Head of Health and Wellness Development as needed.
Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Architecture, Project Management, Health & Wellness, or a related field is essential. A Master’s degree or certification in Wellness, Spa Development, or Project Management is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience working in asset management, wellness and project development with a hotel operator ideally in the luxury sector.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to lead and manage teams across different functions and geographies.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, project feasibility, and ROI within a hospitality context.
- Technical proficiency and experience reviewing architectural and design documentation, including familiarity with FFE specifications and operational requirements.
- Market expertise and in-depth knowledge of global wellness trends and their application in the luxury hospitality space.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Proficiency in project management tools and relevant software (e.g. CAD, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, MS Project), as well as expert knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
