- Using the available resources, the Wellness Manager is responsible for delegating, coordinating, and evaluating the delivery of care based on the Resident Care Plan & Service Plan (if applicable)
- Ensure an interdisciplinary effort to achieve the successful integration of quality of life and quality of care
- Responsible for performance reviews
- Ensure that care delivered recognizes each Resident as an individual so that personal needs are met beyond traditional nursing practices
- Education & orientation for all Employee Care Partners
- Teach delegated services to care partners as per accepted practice standards
- Liaison with Care Team (i.e., Resident, Family- if applicable, Home Care Nurse, Doctor, Pharmacy, Care Partners, and other health care professionals) as required
FOUNDATIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE TO GROW FROM:
- Graduate of a recognized RN program required
- Registered and in good standing with their related Licensing Body
- Must hold valid certification in First Aid and CPR
- Previous experience as a supervisor or manager is required
- Labor and employee relations resolution experience required
