Tasks

• Your job is to support the teams with manual software validation and integration tests in an agile, pan-European (D, UK, I) development process
• Here you help, by maintaining and evolving an automated test-system that allows health checks on various components of the Sky Backend Broadband environment, based, on API testing
• You’ll accurately document and multiply your knowledge into the team
• In close coordination and collaboration with the teams, you ensure that in the case of test system incidents or even failures, all test teams and users of the environment are informed and kept up to date on the actual resolution
• The development and operation of the necessary test tools as well as maintaining the test infrastructure is part of your daily business
• In addition, you’ll be actively involved in the design and implementation of new processes and control mechanisms for our test environment

Requirements

• You’re enrolled in a degree programme in the field of computer science or in any other comparable degree programme
• During your studies, you ideally gained initial experience in the area of API testing
• You’re well acquainted with dedicated tools (for e.g. Postman) and scripting languages (for e.g. Java Script or Python) and you’ve a sound knowledge of HTML & CSS
• You’ve a high affinity towards new technologies. The ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new technical topics and contents distinguishes you - solving problems is fun for you
• You’re an excellent team player and you think in creative ways in order to achieve a common goal
• Your strengths include a high degree of independence as well as a structured, analytical and detailed way of working
• Good written and spoken English language skills are a matter of course for you - a knowledge of German is a plus
