Description:

As part of our US Tax team, you will support us in consulting and compliance for our clients in the field of US Tax. You will take on a wide range of tasks:

  • Assist in US Tax Compliance: Support the US Tax department in preparing excel calculations, tax returns, including forms 1040, 1120, 1065 and related items
  • Data Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with team members to gather, organize and analyze financial data to support the preparation of accurate and timely tax filings. This includes reconciling financial statements, identifying potential discrepancies, and ensuring data integrity
  • Research and Documentation: Conduct research on US tax laws, regulations, and updates to assist in maintaining compliance and identifying potential tax-saving opportunities
  • Communication and Collaboration: work closely with a diverse team and collaborate with team members to understand and solve a wide variety of different US Tax situations
  • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of changes in US tax legislation and regulations, attending relevant training sessions, webinars, and proactively sharing knowledge with the team to ensure compliance and foster continuous improvement

This is an on-site position which will require the candidate to go to the EY office in Eschborn on their workdays. The interview will be conducted remotely.

WHAT YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE – SKILLS FOR SHAPING THE FUTURE

  • Currently enrolled as a student in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program, ideally in the field of Accounting, Taxation, Finance or a related business field at a recognized German university
  • English proficiency (written and spoken); intermediate German language skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel is a must
  • Strong desire to learn new things and curiosity to know more about US Tax
  • Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate within a highly diverse team
  • Proactive, self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
