Description:

We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated leader with significant recent experience of a leadership role in an Urgent Care setting (for example Psychiatric Liaison, Home Treatment Team, Rapid Response Team) to lead our Westminster Home Treatment Team. The Team are accredited by the Royal College of Psychiatrists which is a reflection of the high standards and quality of care that the team upholds.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified mental health professional interested and committed to delivering care within a safe, secure and therapeutic environment. Successful applicants must be able to work in a challenging and dynamic environment. You will need to demonstrate a range of skills including effective communication, empathy, self-awareness, and critical self-reflection skills.
The team are currently part of a Peer Open Dialogue pilot . This is an exciting time to be at the forefront of the roll out of this approach across community, crisis and older adult service in Westminster.
You will need to be a registered Health or social care professional with significant experience at band 7 or above to be eligible to apply for this opportunity, with recent relevant experience in crisis care.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and development, be an effective role model, self-motivated with the commitment, drive and adaptability to thrive in this demanding post.
You will possess excellent communication skills, be visible and accessible with quality and high standards at the core of your professional profile. You will need to be flexible and resilient in order to cope with the demands of the role. In addition, you must be able to influence and negotiate in order to improve the service your team provides for their patients. Evidence of continuing professional development is essential. You will work closely with the full range of the multi-disciplinary teams in Psychiatric Liaison , Inpatient services, Mental Health Crisis Assessment Service and Community services.

The post-holder is required to provide professional leadership and management of the Westminster Home Treatment Team.
The post holder will be involved in the recruitment of the team, devising the operational policy, other protocols and arranging staff induction and training.
The post-holder will provide the diverse workforce of the teams with clear
leadership, supervision, support, and developmental opportunities to ensure effective use of resources at all times
