REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Wheel Alignment Technician, preferably working with trucks and commercial vehicles.
• Technical certification in motor mechanics, automotive repair, or a related field (a must).
• Strong knowledge of wheel alignment principles, diagnostic tools, and alignment machines.
• Ability to lift and handle heavy truck tyres and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to drive heavy commercial vehicles is advantageous.

JOB PURPOSE:

We’re seeking a skilled Wheel Alignment Technician to deliver accurate and efficient wheel alignment services. In this role, you’ll inspect, diagnose, and correct alignment issues, ensuring vehicles operate safely, extending tyre life, and enhancing vehicle performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform accurate wheel alignments using alignment machines and equipment
• Inspect and diagnose alignment issues.
• Fit and strip truck tyres.
• Advise customers on necessary repairs and tyre maintenance.
• Keep alignment and balancing equipment calibrated and maintained.
• Keep detailed records of work performed, including alignment specifications, parts replaced, and customer interactions.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations, ensuring safe use of alignment equipment and following company safety protocols.
• Perform any other duties related to wheel alignment, tyre services, and vehicle maintenance as instructed by Supervisor/Manager.
