Description:

IDT Corporation seeks a charismatic and well-connected A2P SMS Sales Manager to join its rapidly growing wholesale business team in Europe/Remote.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a SMS sales role in the Telecom industry.
  • Proven track record of success.
  • Strong industry contacts
  • A gift for communicating efficiently and effectively
  • Fluent in both written and verbal English
  • French or Spanish Speaking a plus
  • A demonstrated inner drive for success.
  • High level of proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities:

  • Accelerate the growth of the messaging services unit at IDT.
  • Work closely with Commercial Operations to evaluate potential providers, test routes, and identify top destinations to be promoted.
  • Dynamically negotiate SMS commercials to bring the most value to IDT.
  • Establish and optimize internal processes to effectively manage SMS trading and buy-sell interaction with SMS partners
  • Use your industry network and expertise to identify valuable SMS partners for IDT.
  • Liaise with operators, aggregators, and industry groups to position IDT as a relevant service provider in the messaging market.
  • Source niche SMS service providers to fill coverage gaps and increase delivery rates in key areas.
  • Develop innovative and creative SMS trading models to secure USP and sustainable revenue streams.
  • Maintain the SMS partner pipeline in IDT’s CRM and keep the information accurate and up to date.
  • Work closely with Product Managers to improve and diversify IDT’s messaging offering.
  • Negotiate SMS service contracts and SLAs working closely with legal.
  • Leverage IDT’s product portfolio to drive and develop the SMS business.
  • Be a primary point of contact for Business Development agents.
  • Elaborate and report SMS performance reports regularly.
  • Represent IDT at industry events and conferences.
