Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financing Product Controller Associate to join their dynamic team in London. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a global financial services group with an integrated network spanning approximately 30 countries and regions. The successful candidate will have the chance to work closely with various parts of the firm’s businesses, products, and technology systems, offering a challenging and interesting role suited to bright and ambitious individuals with a drive to succeed.

What you’ll do:

As a Financing Product Controller Associate, your role will be integral in overseeing various financial aspects including Acquisition & Leveraged Finance, Securitised Products, Firm Relationship Loans, and Special Situations. You will be expected to liaise closely with the business for value add advisory work. Your responsibilities will also include coordinating the finance response to new products and non-standard transactions as well as evaluating financial metrics and returns. You will maintain close working relationships with both the trading desk and investment bankers while reviewing and calculating resources and returns for new transactions.

• Oversee Acquisition & Leveraged Finance, Securitised Products, Firm Relationship Loans and Special Situations.
• Liaise with the business for value add advisory work.
• Coordinate the finance response to new products and non-standard transactions.
• Evaluate financial metrics and returns to ensure new trade proposals meet internal profitability requirements.
• Maintain close working relationships with both the trading desk and investment bankers.
• Review and calculate resources and returns for new transactions.

• Accounting Qualification
• Product Control experience
