JOB TITLE: WHSE QA & COMPLIANCE MANAGER

  • Location: Sydney Client Site or Melbourne BGIS Office
    BGIS, a global leader in integrated facilities management, is seeking a dedicated WHSE QA & Compliance Manager to join our team. This position can be based in either our Sydney Client Site or Melbourne BGIS office .
    As the WHSE QA & Compliance Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of our Health, Safety, Environment, Quality Assurance, and Compliance programs. You will play a critical role in ensuring our operations adhere to all relevant regulations and standards, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement across our teams.
    Key Responsibilities:
    Develop and implement WHSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and national regulations.
    Conduct audits and inspections to identify areas of improvement and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
    Lead incident investigations and report findings to drive corrective actions.
    Collaborate with senior management to develop strategies for risk mitigation and safety enhancements.
    Provide WHSE training and guidance to staff, promoting a proactive safety culture.
    Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
    Key Qualifications:
    Tertiary qualifications in WHSE, Quality Assurance, or related fields.
    Minimum of 5 years’ experience in WHSE and compliance management, preferably within facilities management or construction.
    Strong knowledge of Australian WHSE regulations and standards.
    Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
