Birmingham City University is a large and diverse place to work, right in the heart of the city. We have an exciting role to add to our Student Recruitment team, supporting with the delivery of our Widening Participation activity in partner schools.
The Graduate Outreach Assistant will work as a facilitator and be the first point of contact for staff and pupils in two of the University’s progressive programme partner schools. The postholder will be embedded in schools for part of their working week, delivering and supporting activity which forms the progressive programme – supporting pupils to raise attainment and aspirations. The postholder will be responsible for liaison between partners and the University to enable pupils to participate in the school programmes, as well as taking on the administration of events on campus. The postholder will also be responsible for recording and monitoring pupils’ involvement.
