Description:

LAPRAIRIE Group of Companies is currently recruiting for a full-time Winch Truck Operator to join its team in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Responsibilities:

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Haul various cargo
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
  • Operate loading and unloading equipment as required
  • Adhere to daily schedules set out by Dispatch & Supervision
  • Complete daily paperwork / reporting accurately and on time
  • Promote ENTREC’s safety culture and adhere to HSE policies
  • Maintain a clean and organized truck

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must hold a valid Class 1 license
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years on/off highway driving
  • Must have equipment hauling experience
  • Must have winch truck operating experience
  • Must have experience with 32- and 40-wheel configurations
  • Availability to work rotational shifts, including days and nights
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol clearance
  • Solid communication skills
  • Ability to navigate work sites, and adapt to daily changes in scopes of work
  • Acceptable drivers abstract
