- Casual position at Chapel Hill Winery, McLaren Vale.
As a Winery and Vineyard Maintenance Assistant, you will support the Operations Manager with various site maintenance tasks including preventive and breakdown maintenance on all winery equipment, grounds housekeeping tasks and with general upkeep around the site.
This is a unique and varied opportunity to be involved in many different aspects of our winery operations, additionally providing on site support to the Viticulturist with vineyard tasks and assisting with site project work as required.

Responsibilities:
- Proactive approach to preventive maintenance on winery equipment and plant
- Assist with any breakdown repairs on winery equipment and plant
- Maintain maintenance log for all works completed
- Vineyard and winery grounds irrigation repairs
- Assist with vineyard irrigation monitoring
- Oversee the winery compost program
- Vineyard trellis and wire repairs
- Vineyard slashing and weed control
- Assist with grape harvest as required
- Housekeeping and upkeep of all building surrounds, car parks and roadways
- Assist with site maintenance and project work when required
- Assist in the cellar when required.
- Be a part of a small motivated team
