Winter 2025 - Instructor Training Centre (ITC) Trainer

JOIN THE CARDRONA & TREBLE CONE TEAM FOR WINTER 2025!

Our Instructor Training Centre crew are looking for Trainers to join our team for Winter 2025. Our winter season runs from June to October, so this position will start in June at the earliest.
We are currently seeking experienced Ski and Snowboard Trainers to deliver High Performance Development Camps and International Instructor Qualifications. As a trainer, you’ll provide guests and staff with high quality training, guidance & assistance in all aspects of the program, as well as leading the Technical and Pedagogical development within the Cardrona Snow Sports Team by working collaboratively with other trainers and staff.

This is a varied role, which encapsulates the following responsibilities within the training position, to provide an elevated experience for our guests, staff and athletes:

• Group Coach
• Private Coach
• Stand-in Coach
• Staff van driver
• Snowsport School Instructor (assigned and requested)On-and-off-snow administrative tasks

On occasion, there will be a requirement to travel with athletes to other ski areas as part of your coaching position.

PROVEN EXPERIENCE REQUIRED INCLUDE:

• At least 5 years in a senior snowsports role
• Snowsport industry-specific coaching qualifications
• Proven experience in coaching groups of various ages and skill levels
• Advanced knowledge of coaching, training plans, relevant exercises, skill acquisition, development, technical requirements, and training methodologies
• Knowledge of international training practices
