Description:
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Wire Transfer Specialist in Miami Lakes, Florida. The role is primarily situated within the financial services sector and covers operations activities related to the Payment Services Department. The Wire Transfer Specialist will be in charge of managing a variety of tasks, including processing wire transfers, verifying customer instructions, and assisting in investigations related to payment services.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately process daily wire transfers transactions including Outgoing, Incoming, and Internal ones via FEDWIRE and/or SWIFT ALLIANCE using established systems.
- Ensure the compliance with the Travel Rule and other related regulations when processing wire transfers.
- Verify customer security procedures like call backs and signature verifications on instruction.
- Regularly check OFAC program engine’s functionality and approve transactions as per OFAC guidelines.
- Assist in the collection of information related to wire transfer payments investigations or pending issues, adhering to established guidelines.
- Collaborate in resolving discrepancies related to the Payments Service area.
- Adhere to all Bank policies and ensure procedures are followed when performing transactions on the T-24 system and other required equipment.
- Process wire transfers received through BS Online and assist in the processing of Check 21 and ACH transactions when necessary.
- Assist in coordinating the reception and sending of payment orders and other documentation.
- Contribute to the department and Bank objectives and goals.
- Assist in identifying pending transactions in reconciliation reports and request information necessary for regularization.
- Possession of a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in banking software for efficient management of financial transactions.
- Ability to accurately process data, ensuring attention to detail and maintaining confidentiality.
- Experience in check processing, enabling smooth operation of financial transactions.
- Understanding of credit systems to manage and process transactions effectively.
- Experience with wire transfer systems to facilitate secure and efficient money transfers.
- Knowledge of SWIFT and Fedwire systems for international banking operations.
- Familiarity with Check 21 regulations and processing for optimal banking operations.
