Women's Designer - Formalwear . Part time / Freelance

We are looking for a Womenswear Designer specialising in Formalwear to work with a leading and highly successful supplier to the high street. The successful candidate will work across all womenswear formal products.
This is a part time role 2-3 days a week and freelancers will be considered but working days must be in the office based in Harrow. Salary negotiable but no WFH !

KEY REQUIREMENTS.

• Degree qualified in fashion or textile design
• Relevant experience within a supplier environment, similar role or business
• Highly competent with Adobe Creative Suite and highly skilled with powerpoint and CAD expertisePlease apply via the link below attaching your CV. We do not ask for a Portfolio until after 1st stage selection but if you would like to attach some examples of your work, please do.

• Formulate each season’s range direction to meet the design and costing requirements, technical specifications concepts/trends/themes/colours each season and palette
• Continually deliver a fresh, creative & commercial product range, taking accountability for specific and defined product categories
• Reporting into the Senior Product Developer and presenting finished product categories to my Clients customers and clearly articulate the inspiration and benefits of the new range
• Adhere to the product critical path & ensure all deadlines are met.
• Take accountability for your range and be aware & react to sales information
• Take full responsibility for the handover of clear, understandable, completed design packs to Technical
• Design focused, commercial eye passionate about product
