The Pepper Group web team works on comprehensive, strategic, well-designed websites for clients ranging from fast-growth technology firms to innovative manufacturers to smart service businesses.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ plus years of experience developing websites on WordPress including demonstrated experience developing child themes and plugins.
• Experience working with Web Hosting, GIT (version control systems), Secure FTP, etc
• Experience with WordPress multi-sites or willingness to learn.
• General experience working with Google Analytics (Universal and/or G4) and Google Tag Manager to make data driven decisions.
• Ability to work independently and part of a team.
• Experience with gathering and evaluating user and/or customer needs.
• Knowledge of Foundation or other Frontend development frameworks.
• Strong understanding of WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Understanding responsive web design principles, including the use of media queries, flexible grids, and responsive images, will be valuable.
• Experience with Pantheon or Flywheel hosting is a plus
• Experience with WP Engine is a plus
• Familiarity with WordPress theme development
