Wordpress Developer - Onsite Ottawa

We are a growing digital agency called EspioLabs.com, a DNSnetworks division, that is in search of a talented WordPress Developer to connect the world of marketing and user experience design through technology.
Role
Manage the development and deployment of Wordpress and CMS-based websites with a talented team of SEO specialists, graphic and media designers, software developers and AI/ML developers.
Responsibilities

Wordpress Development

• Work with marketing teams to provide technical direction on Wordpress websites, plugins and theme support
• Mange active ticketing and technical support across multiple client websites
• Front-end development and theme customization
• Back-end development of new plugins, custom post types and theme options Tools: Wordpress, WPBakery Page Builder, PHP, CRM Integrations

Custom Application Development

• Work with UI/UX designers to provide technical direction on design prototypes
• Front-end development of web interfaces using React or Vue.js
• Work with designers to provide interaction design recommendations and improve prototypes Tools: Github, Bitbucket

CRM Integration

• Database integration between contact forms and 3rd party CRM

Project Management

• To assist in reviewing code and deploying websites
• Manage hosting and digital services
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders (If needed)
• Provide detailed estimates on new projects and initiatives

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in web development
• Entrepreneurial, self-starter attitude
• Front-end technologies (such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and jQuery)
• Back-end technologies (such as PHP, Laravel, MySQL)
• Debugging tools (such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug)
• Website creation tools (WordPress, Elementor & page builder tools)
