RoomRaccoon is seeking a passionate and skilled WordPress Developer to join our growing team. You will play a pivotal role in optimising our website’s performance and user experience, ultimately driving lead generation and business growth.

REQUIREMENTS?

• 3-5 years of experience building and maintaining WordPress websites (self-hosted preferred).
• Proven competency in front-end development (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript - jQuery & Vue.js).
• Competency in PHP & SQL experience.
• Experience with website performance optimisation techniques (caching, image optimisation).
• Working knowledge of SEO best practices.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Familiarity with Git version control for code management.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.

• Optimize website speed and performance: Analyse website performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to achieve measurable improvements in page load times (e.g., by 20%).
• Enhance website functionality and user experience: Collaborate with designers, SEO managers, and performance marketing experts to build and implement features that improve user engagement and conversion rates.
• Develop custom integrations with our CRM to streamline data flow and automate tasks.
• Implement SEO best practices: Ensure website code adheres to SEO principles to improve organic search ranking and website visibility.
• Optimise website workflow for content managers: Develop user-friendly interfaces and processes for content creation and management.
• Maintain a consistent look and feel: Ensure website design remains consistent across all languages, domains, and devices.
• Perform regular website backups and security audits to safeguard website integrity and user data.
• Maintain staging and local development environments to facilitate efficient website development and testing.
• Implement new website designs and updates as briefed by the design team, ensuring pixel-perfect execution.
