REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer.
• Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.
• Experience designing and developing responsive design websites.
• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
• Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.
• Ability to convert comprehensive layouts and wireframes into working HTML pages.
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial.
• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms and integrations (e.g., WooCommerce).
• Experience with website analytics and SEO best practices.
• Familiarity with website hosting environments and databases.

SOFT SKILLS:

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and improve skills continuously.

• Design and implement new features and functionality for WordPress websites.
• Establish and guide the website’s architecture to ensure high-performance and availability.
• Build and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Ensure high-performance and availability, and manage all technical aspects of the CMS.
• Conduct website performance tests and optimize as necessary.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website problems and bugs.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other stakeholders to deliver effective and efficient websites.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our sites are up-to-date with the latest standards.
