Work Health Safety Programs and Systems Manager – 12 Months

We are looking for a Work Health Safety Programs and Systems Manager (Zero Harm Systems Manager) to join our dynamic team and lead the charge in ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental responsibility across Downer Australia and New Zealand.

• Degree or Post Graduate Qualification in OHS/WHS (or closely related field).
• Three years of related industry ‘in-field’ OHS experience in a complex high-risk industry.
• Previous experience in contributing to the maintenance of a strong safety management system with a large diverse workforce.
• Project management knowledge and experience is desirable.
• Previous experience in complying with AS4801/OHSAS18001/ISO14001/ISO45001/ISO9001 (with OFSC Accreditation previous experience desirable).
• Previous experience undertaking due diligence activities for new clients/ customers or new business acquisitions.
• Relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Sound working knowledge of the WHS/OHS legislation and their application to achieve business outcomes.
