Must be eligible, have received and accepted work study award through Student Financial Aid for the applicable semester and/or academic year.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

self-motivated, driven, previous experience in a lab type setting.

EDUCATIONAL BENEFITS APPLICABLE TO CAREERS:

This experience would be most beneficial to careers in the Animal Science/Science fields. Students will gain knowledge and understanding about department research, create connections and collaborate with faculty and staff.

JOB PURPOSE:

Lab assistant for Drs. Gifford and Lima, other faculty as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with cleaning and organization of the lab, preparing supplies for sample collection and other lab protocols as needed.
