POSITION SUMMARY

One temporary hourly-intermittent work study student assistant position in Philosophy.

QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualifications:

• It is preferred, but not required, that the incumbent demonstrates the ability to write and speak in Spanish.

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
• Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assist with data entry, filing, typing, mail distribution, operating office equipment.
• Draft flyers/announcements, maintain workroom supplies and perform periodic inventory checks.
• Maintenance of bulletin boards for department, ordering of desk copies and course books for faculty.
• Reception duties including answering the phones efficiently and routing inquiries to the appropriate person, assisting students at the reception desk.
• Run errands around the campus.
• General cleaning of common work areas.

Other duties as assigned.
