Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Workday Business Analyst to join our HR PMO team. The Workday Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing Workday solutions to meet the business needs of our organization. This role will be responsible for managing Workday projects, driving change management initiatives, and ensuring the governance of the Workday system to meet business needs while maintaining system integrity.
Key Responsibilities:

Workday Governance:

  • Ensure the governance of the Workday system by maintaining global principles and system integrity.
  • Monitor system usage and compliance with governance standards.
  • Partner with COE, People Operations and HRIT to conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure Workday configurations meet business needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated with Workday releases and new features and recommend improvements to existing processes. Collaborate with IT and HR teams to implement system upgrades and new features.

Business Needs Analysis:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, understand, document their requirements for Workday implementations and enhancements.
  • Work closely with HRIT, Security and Analytics team to align and maintain Workday modules, including HCM, Comp, Talent, TA, Learning, and others as needed.
  • Conduct gap analysis and recommend enhancements to improve system functionality.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Workday issues including configurations and integrations.
  • Perform system testing, including creating test plans, test cases, and executing tests.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and successful delivery
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and resolve issues.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Act as a liaison between the HR/IT team and other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project progress and system performance.

Change Management:

  • Collaborate with business lead, HRIT and PMO team to develop and implement change management strategies to support Workday initiatives.
  • Conduct impact assessments and identify potential risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with COE/Business leads to build effective training and communication plans to ensure stakeholder engagement and adoption of new Workday features and processes.
  • Collaborate with Develop and maintain documentation, including process flows, user guides, and training materials.

Who You are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Workday Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits, and other modules.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed documentation and functional specifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with system testing and end-user training.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workday certification in one or more modules.
  • Experience with Workday integrations and reporting.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies.
