WHAT SKILLS ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our roles are remotely based (even pre-Covid), meaning you will be working from your home office, connecting with your client and team on a daily basis.
To be successful in this type of environment, you will need to have the ability to communicate effectively (in English) with cross-functional teams, explain complex concepts in easy, understandable terms, align HR / business knowledge with Workday functionality, and proactively drive process improvements. You will need to be comfortable with video calls and be proactive in keeping communication channels open with your client and team.

MUST HAVE SKILLS REQUIRED

  • At least 5 years’ experience with Workday Compensation configuration (certification is an advantage)
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or IT related field
  • Implemented Workday for 5+ projects
  • Proven ability to organize and plan the Workday implementation, development through deployment and the ongoing support model
  • Detailed understanding & extensive experience in implementation of large-scale transformation projects in HR
  • Attention to detail and the ability to see the big picture, pragmatic problem solver
  • Excellent planning, interpersonal and time management skills with a track record of following through on dedications
  • Fluent in English (writing, reading, and speaking)
  • Must have the Right to Work in country where based

Responsibilities:

WHAT IS THE ROLE ABOUT

The Senior Workday Advanced Compensation Analyst is responsible for the configuration, implementation and support of the advanced compensation module in Workday, with the goal of providing excellent system reliability, performance, availability and overall system optimization. The incumbent will be responsible for working with the HR, Compensation, and Payroll teams to support continuous improvement including supporting the bi-annual releases of the Workday system.
As a VR consultant, you will have the flexibility to manage your own day, as long as you meet your set objectives and client demands. Often your team will be a mix of on-site and remote based members who will connect using IM, video calls and an online ticketing system. Good communication skills and time management is essential for this role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for leading and facilitating the design and architecture of the compensation module(s) in the Workday system including – creating and maintaining the compensation grid configuration, creating complex compensation eligibility rules, custom bonus calculations, long-term cash incentive programs, and compensation letter configuration using Workday documents.
  • Core compensation knowledge such as grade and grade profile configuration, compensation business process design and configuration, job catalogue maintenance, earning and compensation codes, claw backs, compensation plan creation and maintenance also required
  • Gather and analyze business requirements for compensation processes, including salary, bonuses, and incentive programs.
  • Provide functional leadership to the project team by evaluating and proposing technical alternatives for resolving business and technology issues.
  • Manage business processes related to compensation, such as compensation review cycles, salary adjustments, and reporting
  • Ensure configurations are accurate and align with best practices.
  • Conduct unit and system testing for Workday Compensation configurations and integrations.
