Description:
Workday Consultant
Rate: £500 - £600 per day (In-scope of IR35)
Location: Bristol/hybrid
Duration: 6 months, with possible extensions
Requirement
We are looking for a Workday Consultant to support managing the continuing growth and evolving Workday HR Platform with a focus on considering how we make the most of the valuable data in the system to share data and trends and bring data together. Specifically, we want to develop our system needs to design a way of presenting workforce planning information, including sources of information from finance, HCM and information outside of the workday system.
Overview
- As a consultant you will lead the development of existing and configuration of new dashboards to ensure that we are utilising data in a secure way and digestible way, managing a diverse portfolio of reports covering the HCM suite.
- Your responsibilities will include data cleansing, dashboard maintenance, and act as a go to expert on workday reporting.
- You will lead the creation, management and enhancement of the company’s reporting catalogue. Ensuring data accuracy and maintain interactive dashboards.
- You will build relations with customers and the wider HR team, shaping and delivering solutions that are aligned to our needs, fit for purpose and commercially viable.
- You will leverage your expertise to recommend the best solution based on our requirements and timeframes, with the flexibility to adapt the scope as required.
- You will guide us through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practice and business requirements.
- You will support the current team by building and sharing your knowledge with them.
Skills
- Excellent customer focus, able to assess customer needs, build relationship and manage expectations.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and make a balanced view of customer requirements.
- Strong communication skills being able to demonstrate and explain complex functionality and solutions.
- You will be able to lead functional workstreams from discovery through to implementation.
- Able to implement ongoing improvements in tools and processes.
- Excellent skills to understand the problem statement and translate it into IT software requirements.
Experience
- Workday Pro or equivalent Workday training in Report Writer, HCM and Business Processes. As we also have Adaptive, we welcome experience in this area so all data can be brought together.
- Knowledge and practical experience of Workday report writing capabilities and functionality.
- Proven track record in managing and optimising large-scale report portfolio.
- Strong knowledge of security configuration.
- Experience with additional workday modules such as learning, talent and performance, absence and recruitment.
