Description:

Are you experienced in configuring business processes and governance tools in Workday to secure policy & procedure compliance? Do you thrive in the intersection of HRIT, HR Operations, and HR Legal? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you.
In the role as Workday Process Compliance Manager you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer, with the unique opportunity to shape the future of HR compliance at GN. This global specialist role will be based in either Ballerup, Denmark or Warsaw, Poland, and will play a crucial part in ensuring our HR platform and processes are both user-friendly and fully compliant with our policies and procedures.
The team you will be part of:
You will join the People Technology & Analytics team, a lean and fantastic group of HR processes, systems and insights specialists who constantly seek to empower GN with advanced HR technology and insightful analytics, ensuring data integrity, process efficiency and a transformative employee experience. Although your primary role is within process compliance, you – as everyone on the team - also serve as a utility player. This means that we as team members all act on the needs and priorities of the business and we cover for each other whenever needed.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

  • Ensure global policy and procedure compliance across various HR domains (e.g. Talent Attraction, Job & Compensation Changes and Terminations) and assist in securing local customization where regulation requires
  • Configure Workday business processes and governance tools to simplify the user experience while ensuring proper compliance guardrails, such as validation and approval steps
  • Oversee specific compliance projects, such as the implementation of the EU Working Time Directive, the review and optimization of our Employee Data Retention compliance procedures and defining and implementing Accounting Policies in the light of CSRD
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, HR Operations and Legal teams to achieve an intuitive and self-service oriented HR platform without GN mitigating needed compliance controls
  • Develop and support change management efforts to make our People & Culture Partners, Managers and Employees understand changes impacting them and their specific responsibilities
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in Workday process compliance and proactively identify opportunities to enhance our offerings and processes

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you probably come with a good portion of the following;

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., HR, Business Administration, Information Technology)
  • Solid experience in Workday process configuration and change management
  • Experience in working with global HR processes and compliance standards from a medium to large sized corporate with a global workforce footprint
  • Comprehensive analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract insights from complex data sets and provide actionable recommendations
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences
  • Shows significant self-motivation, actively engages in tasks and capable of excelling autonomously or within a team framework

We encourage you to apply
Even if you don’t match all the above-mentioned skills, we will gladly receive your application if you think you have transferrable skills. We highly value a mindset, motivation, and energy, that aligns with our core values, to not only ensure growth for you, but for your team and the wider GN organization.
