Description:

Under the direct supervision of the Supervising Workers’ Compensation Consultant and Manager I, the Workers’ Compensation Consultant will perform a variety of professional duties in the Uninsured Employers’ Benefits Trust Fund (UEBTF) Program in an effort to settle and resolve claims of injured workers who were industrially injured while working for an illegally uninsured employer and seek reimbursement of benefits paid out by the Fund from the illegally uninsured employer. Specific duties may include, but not necessarily limited to the following activities:

If you have list eligibility as a Staff Services Analyst, it will be used to hire you as a Workers’ Compensation Assistant. Candidates with Staff Services Analyst eligibility must meet the minimum qualifications for both Staff Services Analyst and Workers’ Compensation Assistant.

The Workers’ Compensation Consultant works in an air conditioned office building with natural and artificial lighting as well temperature control.
The duties of this job are performed indoors most of the time. The employee’s cubicle is equipped with standard office equipment
