Description:

Under the general direction and supervision of the Supervising Workers’ Compensation Consultant, the Workers’ Compensation Consultant (WCC) assists the general public, analyzes and reviews documents and regulations concerning issues related to workers’ compensation application.

The Staff Services Analyst classification is being appropriated for this position. If you have list eligibility as a Staff Services Analyst, it will be used to hire you as a Workers’ Compensation Assistant. Candidates with Staff Services Analyst eligibility must meet the minimum qualifications for both Staff Services Analyst and Workers’ Compensation Assistant.

Working Conditions
This position is located at:
1515 Clay Street
Oakland, CA 94612
The incumbent will work 40 hours per week in an office setting equipped with standard office equipment. Air conditioned, in a high-rise building with elevator access, cubicle with natural and artificial lighting.
Telework may be available consistent with Department policy.
Once formal training has concluded, part time telework may be offered upon approval by the supervisor and consistent with DIR’s Telework Policy.
