The Position
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Able to travel +75% of the time
- 5+ years of management experience delivering and managing consulting services using Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement analytical tools/processes in a laboratory and/or healthcare setting.
- Black Belt, Master Black Belt, and/or Champion certification in Lean Six Sigma or other similar, advanced continuous improvement certification
- 3+ years of commercial experience in a sales, service-oriented, or consulting environment
- Proficiency using Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and Middleware; familiarity with Roche Infinity.
- Strong organization and analytical skills to uncover key technical, operational, and strategic issues.
- Ability to use analytical methods and applications to support consulting engagement conclusions and recommendations.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills to influence customer decision-makers by articulating ideas and influencing others to adopt solutions. This includes the ability to credibly recommend changes to lab practices to improve waste, cost, quality, and turnaround times.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively lead, manage, and influence people at various organizational levels internally and within the customer site.
- General understanding of IVD Laboratory Solutions and their workflow/functioning; within the lab and at an institutional level.
- Familiarity with Roche and/or competitor products.
