    Intrax Consulting Group are an Australian owned, mid-sized engineering company that provide an end-to-end service to our clients across a range of services including Structural, Civil, Residential, Building Services, Forensic, Surveying and Geotechnical Engineering.
    The Intrax Housing Division has built its success by inspiring volume builders to confidently build more innovative and affordable homes for Australian families and we have the unique opportunity to join our growing Housing team on full-time permanent basis within our Queensland division as a Workflow Team Leader reporting to our General Manager.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Workflow Team Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our engineering workflows, ensuring seamless operations and timely project delivery. This role requires a strong background in workflow management.

Responsibilities:

IN THIS FAST PACED AND CHALLENGING ROLE YOUR DAYS WILL INCLUDE:

  • Establishing, maintaining and growing client relationships.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain efficient workflow processes to support engineering projects.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth and timely project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust workflows as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and ensure our services meet their expectations.
  • Mentor a team of engineers and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Prepare regular reports on workflow performance and project status for senior management.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continually improve workflow processes.
  • Delivering on departmental/state bottom line as set by State & National Department Managers.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL IDEALLY HAVE:

  • Experience in Residential Construction or residential engineering is preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in similar role
  • Knowledge of the residential design and builders’ construction process
  • Ability to work with CRM’s to optimise processes and systems
  • Proven experience in workflow management successfully and efficiently
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset.
