THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Senior Consultant for our Workforce Advisory practice in the HR M&A Transactions team. This team services clients with a full range of hands-on, operationally focused support and advice across the M&A transaction life cycle, for both buy and sell side M&A deals. We cover a wide range of HR operational aspects, including HR divestiture advisory services, carve-out readiness and support, HR due diligence, HR Day 1 readiness, 100-Day planning, integration process support, operating model and organizational design.

Responsibilities:

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver all aspects of HR and Organizational Design services throughout the M&A transaction lifecycle, including:
  • HR due diligence and red flag reports
  • Day 1 HR function readiness
  • HR TSA services design and delivery
  • Operating model and organizational design
  • Talent planning and transitioning
  • HR project management support
  • Assist in identifying risks and issues related to HR integration/separation planning, timelines and functional areas.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in the Human Resources functional area.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with client management. Focus on deliverables and client business priorities. Manage expectations of service. Understand the client’s industry and recognize key performance drivers and business trends.
  • Participate in client engagement teams and work with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services.
  • Develop and successfully manage risk, project economics and escalations and ensure effective planning and budgeting
  • Contribute to thought leadership and develop and enhance collateral, tools, techniques. methodologies to build and enhance HR M&A offering with the practice.
  • Flexibility and ability to travel for client projects; willingness to travel on short notice to meet client needs.

TO QUALIFY FOR THE ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE

  • Educated to degree level.
  • Approximately 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in a number of the following M&A enablement areas: HR due diligence, Day 1 HR function readiness, operating model and organizational design, talent planning and transitioning, HR TSA services design and delivery.
  • Experience in complex transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, carve-outs.
  • Experience in selling and delivering projects that cover the full life-cycle of assessment, design and implementation support.
  • Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines.
