The full time Workforce Coordinator position plays a pivotal role in upholding quality standards, enhancing workforce efficiency, and driving continuous improvement. By managing workforce planning, recruitment, and operational systems, the role ensures the seamless delivery of safe, compliant, and superior service outcomes.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in workforce planning, scheduling, or human resource coordination.
  • Experience in managing and maintaining workforce or human resource management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of workplace relations, including employment laws, enterprise agreements, and awards.
  • Ability to deliver workforce reports and conduct data analysis to support decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the commercial cleaning industry, particularly in workforce coordination and compliance.
  • Experience in interpreting and applying industrial agreements and workplace policies in an operational context.
  • Familiarity with human resource systems and workforce management platforms.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity and accountability in all aspects of work.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Proactive and results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

Duties/responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and maintain workforce planning and rostering systems to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate job scheduling, rosters, and staff allocation for services, including periodicals, ad-hoc requests, and special projects.
  • Maintain up-to-date workforce rosters and schedules in line with operational needs and contract specifications.
  • Arrange the advertising of job vacancies, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
  • Conduct staff inductions, providing information on conditions of service, salaries, and promotional opportunities.
  • Maintain records of new hires, contracts, and onboarding activities within human resource systems.
  • Provide advice and information to management on workplace relations policies, staff performance, and disciplinary matters.
  • Assist in resolving disputes and grievances, ensuring compliance with employment laws and enterprise agreements.
  • Interpret and apply industrial awards, employment contracts, and workplace policies.
  • Support the development and implementation of employee participation initiatives and consultative committees.
  • Prepare and deliver reports on workforce planning, compliance audits, ticket management, and employee performance.
  • Analyse operational, workforce, and client support data to identify trends, gaps, or opportunities for improvement.

  • Manage and administer workforce management systems to maintain accurate and timely data.
  • Maintain personnel records, including training, certifications, and compliance documents.
  • Ensure all operational and human resource systems reflect accurate job and workforce information.
  • Oversee the client support desk to ensure all workforce service requests and tickets are logged, prioritised, and managed efficiently.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to assign, follow up, and resolve client workforce issues and service requests in a timely manner.
