EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social services or other related.
  • Two years of experience working with social service agencies working on community engagement and partnership development initiatives.
  • Experience working with the foreign-born population.
  • Driving is required. Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. At least 50% of the time is spent outside the office environment.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Knowledge of management principles and practices.
  • Relationship building skills. Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate, manage and nurture employer partnerships with diverse businesses and organizations to include educational institutions and government entities for workforce development programs within the department.
  • Create opportunities and mechanisms for engaging with new employers.
  • Ensure prompt and regular communication in support of overall program goals and objectives.
  • Support supervisor with the development of goals, outcomes and objectives to ensure outcomes are met.
  • Represent Catholic Charities at job fairs and other venues where employers and potential employer partners may congregate.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
