Description:
The Workforce Management (WFM) Reporting and Analytics Specialist is responsible for managing, analysing, and reporting workforce-related data to support business operations and improve decision-making. This role is central to leveraging data insights that help optimize scheduling, productivity, and workforce efficiency, contributing directly to the organization’s strategic workforce goals. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, familiarity with workforce management systems, and a thorough understanding of WFM principles.
KEY COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE:
- Workforce Management Expertise:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in workforce management, data analysis, or a related role.
- Proficiency in WFM systems such as Infor, Kronos, Quinyx, NICE IEX, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of workforce management principles, including scheduling, capacity planning, and forecasting.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
- Strong analytical capabilities, with experience in identifying trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities in workforce data.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills to support data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable recommendations for operational improvements.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, or Cognos, for creating and maintaining dashboards and reports.
- Familiarity with SQL or other database querying languages is preferred for advanced data analysis.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Excellent communication skills to convey insights and recommendations to stakeholders, including non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including HR, Operations, and other business units, to address workforce challenges and align strategies.
- Attention to Detail and Time Management:
- Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in ensuring data accuracy and consistency in reporting processes.
- Compliance and Regulatory Knowledge:
- Understanding of labor laws, industry standards, and company policies related to workforce management and reporting.
- Experience in supporting compliance initiatives and audits by providing accurate and timely workforce data.
- Industry-Specific Experience (Preferred):
- Experience in the security or customer service industries is a plus, as it provides relevant insights into sector-specific workforce needs and challenges.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Data Collection & Reporting:
- Collect data from WFM systems, including time and attendance, scheduling, and payroll.
- Develop and distribute regular and ad-hoc reports on workforce metrics, such as productivity, scheduling adherence, and forecast accuracy.
- Analytics & Insights:
- Analyze workforce data to identify trends, variances, and areas for optimization in scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve workforce efficiency and meet business objectives.
- Forecasting & Scheduling Support:
- Assist in creating accurate workforce forecasts based on historical data and business needs.
- Support scheduling solutions that align with business goals and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- System Management & Optimization:
Ensure data accuracy in WFM systems and identify opportunities for improving system performance and reporting capabilities.
Support system updates and the implementation of new WFM technologies.
- Collaboration:
- Partner with HR, Operations, and other business units to understand workforce needs and challenges.
- Ensure all reporting and analysis align with business strategies and regulatory compliance.
- Audit & Compliance:
Adhere to labor laws, company policies, and industry standards in all reporting processes.
Provide accurate and timely data for audits and compliance-related initiatives.
